Kandariya-Mahadev temple is the largest and grandest temple of Khajuraho. This temple is dedicated to God Shiv and a shivling (made of marble) is installed in later times. At the entrance, you will see beautiful Makar toran and above it God Shiv with Goddess Parvati.
We were sitting by the pond, eagerly waiting for a bird to show up for its close-up, but instead, we got a sneaky little crab playing an epic game of hide and seek! It was like this orange crab was saying, “Forget the bird; I’m the real star here! Strike a pose!”
